The Swag Veggie Brush is a 100% natural alternative to plastic or nylon brushes which often break down into micro plastics that end up on our waterways.
Made from natural coconut fibres, the Swag Veggie Brush is dishwasher safe and is the perfect cleaning partner. This scrubber won’t become smelly or mouldy with use and once it has reached the end of its (very long) life, simply throw it in the compost to biodegrade naturally.
Hand made in India using ethical and fair-trade practices, our brushes are vegan, plastic free, compostable and their steel wires are recyclable.
Run a sink of tepid water and a generous splash of apple cider vinegar. Gently rub fruit & veggies with the brush whilst submerged in the water to remove chemicals, dirt, and germs. Rinse with clean water and leave produce on the sink/dish rack to dry. For best practice, on occasion spray the brush with natural antiseptic such as eucalyptus oil and dry in the sun.
