What makes our Swag Wine Chill & Carry Bag Set (Save 15%) so special, is that it comes with a single bottle carry bag made from natural jute, featuring a protective, liquid-proof inner lining and a cane-wood handle PLUS a removable, reusable, internal Quick Chill bag made from The Swag’s patented multi-layer design, which helps absorb moisture and allow airflow as well as help keep your bottle the perfect chill 👌🏻.
Simply place your wine bottle in the Quick Chill bag, run it under a tap to dampen, and then place in the freezer (or fridge) for a quick chill before heading out to dine. When you’re ready to head out, place the Swag Chill into the Swag Wine Carry Bag. And there you have it, perfectly chilled wine - sans the plastic.
If you’re more of a red drinker - just skip the Quick Chill step, and place your red straight into the Wine Carry Bag.
When those unavoidable spills happen, the Quick Chill bag can be machine washed and reused, and the Carry bag can be rinsed under cool water.
At the end of its (very, very) long life, your Quick Chill bag can be composted.
Due to a manufacturing error, this product is not compostable due to an inner protective lining. This issue has been rectified, with the next delivery designed 100% plastic-free and compostable (available later this year).

The Swag is scientifically proven to keep fruit and veggies fresh for two weeks or more*
The Swag is easy to use; cold machine was before use and dry naturally - this activates the fibres, then pop your Swag bag under the tap so it’s slightly damp, wring out any excess water, pop your fruit and veggies inside the bag and store in the crisper of your fridge**. Enjoy 2 weeks or more of fresh, crisp fruit and veggies!
Check every couple of days that your Swag has retained its dampness (give it a drizzle of water whenever it feels dry). We suggest popping your Swag into a cold wash cycle every 2 to 3 weeks (preferably with a non-toxic washing powder). Dry in full sun if possible.
The Swag is purposely oversized and will slightly shrink on the 1st wash. As the Swags are 100% natural and do not contain anti-mould agents, It is important to wipe down your fridge with vinegar regularly and wash your fruit and veggies before storing them in your Swags to avoid bacteria.
Remember, if you’re just water, you don’t need to take everything out, you can simply drizzle water over the exterior of the Swag while they are filled with produce.
*Applied Horticultural Research: The Swag Storage Testing, 2021 | Broccolini, parsley and blueberries kept in The Swag remained fresh and marketable for more than two weeks. In some cases, storage life increased up to four weeks. Studies found The Swag increased storage life of blueberries by 38% compared to ordinary punnets only, and increased storage life of veggies like broccoli for up to 4 weeks (25% longer than plastic).
** If you’re unable to put your Swag into a crisper, the Swags can happily be stored on your fridge shelves. However, you'll just have to dampen them a lot more, and more frequently as they tend to dry out faster when not in the crisper (where the humidity is better controlled). Whenever you open the fridge, check your Swags and if they are dry, run them under the tap so they are damp.
